1. Blow them away with fans

Mosquitoes are equipped with wings only strong enough to carry them through free flowing air torrents. Put strong air stream in their path and they would be blown away for good. You just need to keep trying until you find something that works.

2. Swat them to death

Probably the oldest tactic for killing mosquitoes; it still works till today. All you need is an object strong enough to deliver a strong force that would kill off the annoying pest. A rolled newspaper, a book and even your palms will do the job. If you have got the finances, you can go for fly swatter – it doesn’t cost that much. 3. Kill them off with DEET spray

Pesticides, particularly DEET work well on not just mosquitoes but other insect pests like bug and flea. However, its repelling power only lasts for a short while, making it ineffective for fighting mosquitoes when they come in large numbers. For your safety, check to see if the pesticide you intend using has the approval of regulatory agencies.

4. Kill them at larvae stage

In life, the earlier we do certain things, the better – exterminating mosquitoes is no exception. Believe it or not, it is a lot easier to kill off mosquitoes at larvae stage (adolescent stage for humans) than fighting them off when they have grown into full-on adult mosquitoes. The good news is that you don’t have to break a sweat to do this – a little bit of consistency is all that is needed. So, here are 4 tactics you can use right now to kill off larvae mosquito

• Use mosquito dunks: Mosquito dunks have been listed first for a good reason – it works real well and is inexpensive.
• Use bleach: The bleach we mean here is the one you use for whitening your clothes when they get soiled. Do ensure that the bleach you use contains sodium hypochlorite up to 5.25%.
• Use Cinnamon: Mosquito larvae are allergic to Cinnamon, making cinnamon an excellent mosquito killer.
