Product Details

Rodent MACE granular is effective in repelling mice, rats, squirrels, chipmunks, and other pesky rodents. It has been shown to sometimes repel other animals such as rabbits and skunks. Squirrel MACE liquid was designed to prevent squirrels from chewing, climbing, and gnawing on plants, bulbs, foundations, decking, outdoor furniture, flowerpots, and more! It was created to help protect a specific area(s) from squirrel damage. Our approach targets rodents' sense of taste and smell, driving critters away before they become destructive.

Rodent MACE granular is used to stop squirrels, chipmunks, and other rodents from digging in flowerpots and beds. Simply sprinkle it over the plants you wish to protect. The rodent deterrent is safe for use in gardening and safe on plants. You can use it with ease and enjoy repellency that lasts weeks on end. DIRECTIONS

Granular: Apply heavily and directly to areas rodents may enter, feed, or hide. Seek out entry points, runways, and nests. Apply alongside your home’s foundation and work outwards to keep rodents out. Re-apply weekly, or as the product’s scent fades, to maintain control. Apply monthly as a preventative measure. If you are trying to protect a specific thing, such as a trashcan or entryway, use a perimeter application by creating a 1-3-inch-wide band around the area/thing to be protected.

Liquid: Shake well before each use. Apply daily for the first 7 days. Squirrel’s habits are hard to break so initial applications should be heavy and frequent. Spray around and directly on areas squirrels are chewing or frequenting. To break a pattern of habitual behavior, the spray may need to be applied more frequently. As animals' behavior changes, application frequency may be reduced. Re-apply weekly. Repeat applications as necessary or for maintenance. Squirrel MACE also works as a flower bulb protection spray. Cover the bulbs in a light coating of repellent and let sit for 15 minutes. Let dry and replant. You can use the liquid to spray on to refresh the granules. You can also spray it on old towels, paper towels, hard sponges, and other absorbent materials to prolong the scent.

Before spraying on objects such as outdoor furniture, painted surfaces, or decking, always test a small area for staining acceptability. Do not apply liquid directly on ornamental, soft-bodied plants. Some plants may be too delicate for this spray. Instead, spray the flowerpot or surrounding soil. Avoid heavy spraying of plants and grass. Reapply after heavy rainfall.

These products work!

We have a terrible problem with Squirrels, Chipmunks, Deer and Rabbits...although they are beautiful animals to watch, they destroy our plants, knock over our deck pots, dig holes in the soil, etc...! These products work and are safe for the animals which is important to me. I've turned my neighbor on to the products also. We both care about our environment and don't wish to harm the wildlife...I noticed a drastic change after the first application...no more destroyed gardens! These products work!

Was Ready To Go All Carl Spackler Before Finding Squirrel Mace

Have been in VA for 10 years now with zero issues till recently. Had squirrels on my roof sharpening their teeth on the siding up top. Tried to politely ask them to leave via my BB gun to no avail (low power) and did not have time to sit out back in my ghillie suit (A la Carl Spackler). Took down the two trees and all branches that were giving them access ($$$). Problem solved right? Last Saturday my wife and I were awakened at 0630 to what sounded like something ripping off the siding on the back of our closet wall. Sure enough, same bunch of squirrels moved to the lower level now that I had taken away their access above and loved my HVAC railing that goes right up to that wall. Spent the weekend looking at various option (sound, traps, other smell options, dedicating my next two weeks to hiding in the back yard at 0530 to take them out, etc.) and using Abatron wood epoxy to repair the damage/sand/paint. Settled on trying this after looking at the ingredients, reviews and that PSU was involved! I also got some Have a Heart traps as I was hoping to get rid of them. Traps have been less than effective so far but Squirrel Mace has been a #1 hit for the humans. I have not had any activity since I started using Squirrel Mace so hope it keeps up. Only negative thing I can say about this product is that if you use it on your siding (like I did), It does leave a bit of a sheen (assuming this is because of the soap they use for the adhesion) but it does not cause any damage and can be removed with a hose at any time. Keep up the great work Nature's Magic!
