Product Details

Cat MACE is used as both a cat repellent and an effective training tool for indoor and outdoor use. With Cat MACE you can protect your lawn and property from cat damage. This liquid cat spray works to prevent cat markings and scratching. It was developed through years of extensive research and product development. It uses powerful bittering agents to prevent chewing, digging, rummaging, and clawing. Cats despise the smell and taste of Cat MACE and will move on to less stressful grounds.

Both cat deterrents incorporate a unique scent that is tolerable to humans but naturally irritating to cats. Cats are creatures of habit and require both humane and aggressive deterring. This granular anti-dig cat deterrent helps prevent cats from uprooting plants, digging in flowerbeds, and ruining landscapes. Cat MACE does not contain any poisons or harsh chemicals. It is safe to use around family, pets, and the environment (when used as directed). Cat MACE can be used in all seasons and will not easily wash away!

With regular application, you’ll teach stray and domestic cats to stay clear of the protected areas. Its formula packs a mighty cat punch and contains an effective blend of biobased cat-deterring ingredients. It's easy to use, humane, and does not harm cats. FAQ's

No. Nature's MACE Cat MACE is made with plant-based ingredients and is safe for pets, plants, and wildlife when used as directed.

It depends. Cat MACE functions as a training tool and may require time and repeated applications to achieve the desired results. While it can repel cats instantly upon contact, do not expect immediate or conclusive results from just one or two applications. It is not a magical solution. Consistent and proper application, according to the directions, is essential. Every cat and situation are different, so the product should be used repeatedly and strategically until the cat develops a negative reaction to it or changes its bad behavior.

Yes. However, before spraying on objects such as furniture or painted surfaces, always test a small, inconspicuous area for staining. If the area is negatively affected by the spray, apply it onto a cloth or towel, allow it to dry, and then place it on the area you want to protect. Customers use this method to safeguard couches, rugs, chairs, outdoor furniture cushions, and other delicate fabrics from cat damage.

DIRECTIONS

For Granular: Apply by spreading granules over the area to be protected in a 2-foot-wide strip. To begin, apply heavily and evenly, in and around areas to protect. Apply early when you first notice cat activity. If the cat claims the area as its own, more can be attracted. Re-apply as needed or until cats are trained to stay clear of protected areas. Re-apply every 3 to 4 weeks for maintenance. For larger areas, where cat visits are more frequent, increase the barrier to 30 inches wide. For potted plants, it can be applied directly to indoor and outdoor plants. Replace the dirt as sitting urine will likely attract cats. You can also dilute the urine by watering the plant for longer than usual (ensure adequate drainage). Thoroughly clean the pots and their surrounding areas. Also, consider laying down chicken wire or fencing over the soil to prevent cats from uprooting plants. For garden beds, consider laying down mulch in and around plant beds. Consider using a mulch with, or adding to it, ingredients such as eggshells, nutshells, pinecones, tree bark, rocks, holly cuttings, or anything else rough, jagged, and irritating to cats’ paws.

For Liquid: Shake well before each use. Apply daily for the first 7-10 days. Initial applications should be frequent and heavy to discourage bad behaviors and create new habits. Repeat applications as necessary or on a semi-weekly basis thereafter as the animal’s behavior changes. Apply liberally to areas where cats defecate, rummage, loiter, claw, etc. The goal is to train cats and change their habits. Applications and results may vary depending on how ingrained cats’ habits are and how often they use an area. Whether or not it is a stray or domestic cat may affect product results. Reapply after periods of heavy rainfall. Avoid heavy spraying of plants and grass.

Goodbye Cats

Have been using cat mace for the last year. As long as i continue to sprinkle it around the cats do not return. I have forgotten and after several weeks I had a cat return and leave me a deposit. My fault! And am not sure if this is a new visitor or one that had been here before. So now I am more vigilant and spread it every few weeks. Since I have my dog in my yard I am always worried the fecal matter left could make her sick. It is worth the price for peace of mind. Thank you for creating this product.

Product works great! Just have

Product works great! Just have to keep using it again and again to keep them off.

Thank you for sharing how you have enjoyed the product! We do not have a permanent fix where it requires only one application, but by keeping up with regular applications you should continue to see the results you have been so far.

Keeping stray cats from spraying/peeing on my property

I've used CAT Mace with great success. I've bought a gallon & used it generously over a period of days to a week. After about a week I've noticed on my camera this cat walking right by the area it used to spray/pee. I'm elated how this product has worked! I actually called their customer support number & got a real understanding of the cat's behavior & how to best utilize the product. I highly recommend Cat Mace does what it says it does.

So far, so good!

It is still winter in Wisconsin, but so far the granular product has helped keep feral cats away from my doors and the foundation of my house. I'm very hopeful that it will also deter them from using my gardens as litter boxes when the time comes to do spring planting!

I’ve only used this twice still waiting to see if it actually works. Would love it if I don’t get anymore cats in my yard and under my cars

We have alot of feral

We have alot of feral cats and kittens around property that love to use our carport as their personal litter box, because the floor is made of sand/crushed gravel. I bought and treated the area heavily with both liquid and granulated formula. But they continue to use, only kept they away for about 1 day.☹
