Application Tips:
Remove food sources. If anyone around is feeding squirrels, kindly ask them to stop. A starving squirrel may bypass the repellent to obtain food (including bird seed). This repellent can be used to protect bird feeders, but do not expect 10/10 results. For patio furniture protection, consider spraying a sponge, towel, or paper towel with the repellent and placing it behind each seat cushion. To help prevent squirrels from eating seed from feeders, consider adding food-grade chili powder, capsaicin, or cayenne/habanero pepper to the bird seed. Birds are not capable of sensing the spice whilst squirrels are. You can do this yourself, just be sure to wear gloves and follow the necessary precautions. You can also consider using traps to relocate the squirrels.
Our Rodent MACE granular repellent is the best choice to prevent squirrels, chipmunks, and other rodents from digging in flowerbeds or pots. It works better than the liquid for this application type.
Apply more heavily depending on the severity of the issue. For larger areas, and for when squirrels are more persistent, we recommend the concentrated formulas. The concentrated repellents cover more area and allow you to better control the strength and application frequency. On average, the more product you use and the greater the coverage, the better the results. It may take time and repeated applications to work. Stay at it and apply consistently.
For Automotive Use:
Check the engine compartments and remove any nestings before use. Use an air compressor to remove any food or clutter. If there are signs of rodents, thoroughly wash the area with soap and water to prevent them from returning. For vehicle protection, including but not limited to, cars, trucks, tractors, boats, motor homes, etc. Spray onto engine compartments, wheel wells, wirings, and anywhere else you can reach. Spray around the outside of the vehicle to establish a perimeter.Sign up for the latest sales, new releases and more!
