How to Use

For the first application, apply Snake MACE granular repellent heavily and evenly over yards, gardens, lawns, trees, shrubs, sheds, barns, flowerbeds, and areas where snakes may be present. Apply directly on and around areas. Re-apply every 2 weeks to maintain control. In areas where snake visits are heavier and more intense, additional and/or more liberal applications may be required. This will eventually train snakes to avoid and stay clear of treated areas. Repeat applications as necessary. If you are trying to protect a specific area, create a light and even 2-4-foot-wide band around area(s). This may not repel on direct contact with snakes. Be patient. It may take a full day or two for snakes to be discouraged by the repellent applied areas. Do not apply during heavy wind. Re-apply after frequent or heavy rainfall.

We've been using Snake MACE around our barn, home and sheds to create snake-free zones. It’s been a simple task to add to my outdoor routine to help keep snakes away from these areas we use most. The granular formula is simple to apply and doesn't clump at all in the bag. I make sure to thoroughly hit all the areas that have suspicious looking holes or crevices and also high traffic areas where nobody wants to be surprised by a snake! Highly recommended.

Not sure about this yet

Cleared out my flower beds, and cut grass short behind fence. I knew I had cottonmouths (small) coming from back (bayou behind house). Caught one before but not before a second snake bit my dog ($$$ vet bill). I bought the Mace and applied the repellant as directed. But 2 nights later, I had a second snake in the yard (killed it). I reapplied the MACE. Wait and see if it really works

Sorry to hear about the troubles with Snakes! Scary business and I hope your dog was okay. As you know, please take extra precautions while dealing with venomous snakes. If you have not done so, I'd recommend clearing your yard of any debris or long grass they snakes can hide in. Make sure you are applying the Snake MACE in a thick band perimeter in the area the snakes may be entering your yard. Since the product is all natural, a heavier application is recommended. The more you apply, the better the results will be. Make sure you are spreading it out and not piling the granules up. If you have any other questions, please reach out to us!

Snake mace

Second year of using it, after excavation on property unearthed some “unwelcome guests” last year. Did a perimeter spread of the mace and so far have not had a repeat occurrence.

Well unfortunately…

We purchased this product & applied to the same area where our dog had been bit by copperhead just 1 week prior. Unfortunately she was just bitten again 2 days ago. Very discouraging
