DIRECTIONS

Mole & Vole MACE should be applied in early spring, summer, and fall when activity tends to be highest. We recommend applying at the beginning of each season to deter moles/voles before tunneling begins. Apply 1 lb. of product per 800 sq. ft. Granular can be applied directly from the container or by using a broadcast/drop spreader. Pro Tip: Adding dry dirt or sand to the granular can help with spreading via a drop spreader. Lightly water in the granules for approximately 10-15 minutes after each application.

For the first application, locate mole areas and runways to determine which way to push the moles out of your yard. Next, protect the areas that are not yet invaded by moles. Then, direct the moles away from the lawn by treating the lawn in stages. Day 1: Spread the granules over the area not yet invaded by moles. Day 2: Spread granules over the second area invaded by moles and towards the boundary of the lawn where you want moles to exit your property. Locate mole runways and punch a 1” hole every 8 feet and apply 2-4 tablespoons into each hole and cover with soil. Day 12: Re-apply Mole & Vole MACE granules over the entire affected area. Depending on the severity of your issue, re-apply as needed. Reapply every 2–3 months for maintenance or when new dirt mounds are found. Reapply after periods of heavy rainfall. If you do not see reduced activity within one week, be more persistent with applications and wait an additional week.

This works!

My garden has an abundance of voles. I do not use rodenticides or other dangerous products. Nature’s Mace is safe for my pets and the wildlife. And, it works very well to keep the voles away from my perennials and shrubs. I apply the granules at planting (new plants) then refresh 2x per year (existing plants). I also apply the liquid castor oil to the most vole vulnerable plants (hosta). Very happy with Nature’s Mace products and service.

It works

I’ve used ground vibrators, those ultra sonic devices, castor oil, other granular chasers but this does the trick. Its a combination of oils that is potent. Make sure to read the directions to have it work properly as it has to get into the soil. I saw a rapid change in mole activity as they left the treated areas. The smell lasted a day but cleared out in time. Bottom line, it works.

Works as described

Seems to be a great product. I have used this product for a year now. I no longer need to hire out professionals to rid my yard of moles

mole vole repellent

I have used the mole/vole repellent last year and again this spring. The incidence of moles, which are easier to see than voles, has decreased significantly since I started using it. Voles are still around, but they seem to be restricted to the lawn area rather than my rose and azalea beds. Voles had caused problems to some of my azaleas by eating the fine roots and causing death tot he plant.
