• Does it work in all seasons? How long will one spray last?

  Yes, our repellent is effective year-round. The best time to begin spraying is at the start of each growing season. After a long winter, deer are eager to eat fresh growth. Apply in early spring to protect seedlings and sprouts before blooms start. Be sure to spray seedlings and new growth right when they emerge.
  
  One coat lasts about 30 days under normal rainfall. If you notice deer activity in winter, they are likely to return in spring. Both our granular and liquid formulas work well during winter. Although these plants are dormant, deer will eat them and weaken spring growth. They act as winter repellents, preventing browsing, nibbling, and overall plant damage. Spraying during winter serves as a preventative measure, allowing you to apply it less frequently, about once every 2 months, due to the reduced plant foliage.
  

• Is it safe to spray on harvestable food crops?

  We recommend applying it heavily to the ground and surrounding areas of edible plants. You can also apply it directly to plants but avoid spraying the edible parts. Be sure to thoroughly rinse any crops, such as fruits or vegetables, before consuming them.

• Does it work to prevent deer rubbings?

  Yes. Deer rubbings can cause significant damage and even kill plants. To prevent this, apply the spray directly to the base of plants and tree trunks. If you live in an area with a high deer population, you may need to reapply the product more frequently. This deer repellent is specifically formulated to change deer browsing habits and train them to avoid treated areas.
