Directions For Use

Combine 1/2 cup of castor oil with 1/2 cup of dish soap. Mix 4-6 tablespoons of the mixture with 1 gallon of water. You can also add 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or garlic powder. Pour mixture into yard sprayer. Shake well before each use.

Visible damage on your property will reveal where the moles are entering and exiting. Our aim is to drive the moles back to their original entry point. Locate molehills and runways to determine which direction to push the moles out of your area. Next, protect the areas that are not yet invaded by moles. Day 1: Spray liquid over the area not yet or slightly invaded by moles. Day 2: Spray liquid over the area already invaded by moles and toward the boundary of where you want the moles to exit. Day 12: Reapply the liquid mixture over the entire affected area. For each application, fully saturate areas, and lightly soak in with water for 10 minutes. On Day 30, spray a 10-foot perimeter band along the property line at the exit area to prevent their return.

Depending on the severity of your issue, make the mixture stronger and re-apply as needed. Reapply every 2–3 months for maintenance or when new dirt mounds are found. Reapply after periods of heavy rainfall. If you do not see reduced activity within one week, be more persistent with applications and wait an additional week.

Major Vole Infestation

Our house is on the edge of the woods and we have an extensive problem with voles throughout the garden and lawn. I treated one particularly active area, and since application, I see no further activity in the area. I have now spread the repellent granules and will be following up with a castor oil treatment across the entire garden. Positive Results

I've been using the liquid mole repellant for four months. I was able to drive the moles out using half and half, repellant and dish soap, with cayenne pepper; 8 tablespoons per gallon of water. I treated the unaffected area of my yard twice about a week apart, then treated the affected area driving the moles through a 20 foot corridor. Mole activity was obvious in this corridor. I treated all areas again, adding the corridor and have not had moles since. I now treat about a 15 to 20 foot strip, running along the perimeter of my yard, about once a month, using the rain to soak it in. I spotted mole activity right up to the edge of the perimeter. That is how I know this is working.

Vole Infestation in Colorado Mountains

We have a seasonal cabin in the mountains above Boulder. Since we are not at the cabin year-round, voles have had the run of the open spaces among the pines during the off season. In season's past, we have tried several different approaches to encourage the voles to move on - all to no avail. After 3 days of daily treatment and closing up the vole holes, I am down to only two vole holes that were reopened overnight. Give me a couple more days and I feel that we will have had some real success. Expect a follow up order soon as I keep up the reapplication timetable!

I've been using castor oil to repel voles at my home for 2 years now. I first used the dry material but have switched to the liquid mixing it with dish detergent and spraying. It does seem to work.
