Product Details

Dog MACE granular dog repellent works by training and repelling stray and domestic dogs. This anti-dig dog deterrent creates a protective barrier in and around applied areas. It incorporates a unique scent that is tolerable to humans but naturally irritating to dogs. It uses powerful bittering agents to discourage chewing, digging, and rummaging. This helps prevent dogs from uprooting plants, digging in flowerbeds, and ruining landscapes.

With regular application, you’ll teach dogs to stay clear of the protected areas. Dogs are territorial and each has its own unique characteristics. Some breeds also dig more than others. Dog MACE is a humane but aggressive natural dog repellent. It contains an effective blend of biobased dog-deterring ingredients. Dogs are known for marking their territory with urine which can kill plants and lead to unsightly brown spots in your yard. With Dog MACE you can potentially avoid a battle with your neighbors and a lasting headache. There is no need to set up traps, build fences, or get the humane society involved. Regain control and put an end to your dog issue! Our dog repellent is easy to use, safe for dogs, and guaranteed to work! Anyone can use it, so Try It Today Risk-Free with our 100% Money Back Guarantee. Nature’s MACE products are manufactured with earth-friendly ingredients. Our rain-resistant granular dog repellent provides long-lasting and all-season protection from dogs.

FAQ's

Generally speaking, yes. Nature's MACE Dog MACE is made with plant-based ingredients and is safe for pets, plants, family and wildlife when used as directed. However, if any amount of the product is consumed, it may cause stomach upset. If this happens, please take the dog to a veterinarian. Please read label precautions before use.

It depends. Dog MACE functions as a training tool and may require time and repeated applications to achieve the desired results. While it can repel dogs instantly upon contact, do not expect immediate or conclusive results from just one or two applications. It is not a magical solution. Consistent and proper application, according to the directions, is essential. Every dog and situation are different, so the product should be used repeatedly and strategically until the dog develops a negative reaction to it or changes its undesirable behavior.

DIRECTIONS

To begin, apply evenly and heavily, in and around areas to protect. Start with a generous, heavy application within and around the designated zones. Apply early when you first notice dog activity. Re-apply every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain control. Re-apply as needed or until dogs are trained to stay clear of protected areas. Applications and results can vary depending on how ingrained dogs' habits are and how often they visit an area. This will eventually train dogs to avoid and stay clear of treated areas. Re-apply after extensive rainfall.

For Plants and Flowerbeds: Dog MACE can be applied directly to outdoor plants. Replace the dirt as sitting urine will likely attract dogs. You can also dilute the urine by watering the plant for longer than usual (ensure adequate drainage). Thoroughly clean the pots and their surrounding areas. Also, consider laying down chicken wire or fencing over the soil to prevent dogs from digging up plants.

Worth the price tag!!

So far so good! I’ve actually applied two heavy dustings on my front lawn to deter the lazy owner who lets their dog off leash to use our grass as a bathroom and doesn’t even pick it up! So I’ve used this twice now and it’s working wonders. I can see the dog sniff and immediately turn away on our camera. Thank you for making this product! To me it’s totally worth the money.

We are so glad you are pleased and seeing positie results with the Dog MACE.

Unexpected results

Our darling dog insisted on chowing down the mace. We had to remove it and put the bag away.

Hi Garah,
We are sorry to hear that your dog was eating the MACE. This is actually normal behavior when you first apply the MACE as the dog is trying to figure out what it is. You will need to reapply the mace daily for ten days in order to establish a barrier. After ten days, you can reduce application to once per week. This should show better results.
Thanks!

Not sure, I used the whole bag in the grass between my lawn and the neighbor's. the dog made a b line for me, the very next day. I even treated the lawn to black pepper and vinger. It also rained the day after t used the product, so that might b why it didn't work.

Works, but at what cost?

Purchased last year because there are a lot of free roaming dogs in my new neighborhood and they LOVE to use my yard as a toilet. While the dog mace is a decent size bag, I had to reapply once a week to keep the dogs out of my yard. I went through the bag in about 5 weeks. If you apply once a week it definitely works, but then I had to ask myself why I have to pay $40 a month because I have irresponsible neighbors? If you can afford it, it’s worth it. I decided to invest in a 4ft picket fence.
