Peppermint

Peppermint also works well in chasing off fleas and ticks. To utilize this mixture, add 2 cups of water alongside a few drops of peppermint essential oil in a spray bottle. The mixture can be sprayed on pets, lawn, and clothing to help keep ticks away. You can also grind some peppermint and sprinkle all over the lawn.

Tick-Fighting Fashion Tips

Alternatively, you can utilize clothes to battle ticks. Ensure you put on garments that are light colored as it makes it easier to pinpoint ticks on your body. Ticks can easily perch onto materials that are coarse like thick canvas pants. You can consider putting on fabrics that are woven tightly. This would ensure ticks cannot latch on to your clothing and suck your blood. It is another natural form of tick repellent.
